Sentinel acquisition latency

This map tracks publication latency for Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery using metadata queried from the Element 84 Earth Search catalog; this project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Element 84. For each H3 hexagon and acquisition date, it compares the scene acquisition timestamp with the catalog creation timestamp and stores the delay. Acquisition day shows the selected date; Loaded period summarizes the selected range using median latency. Use it to inspect where satellite data becomes available faster or slower across space and time. Read more:
